"Carpinteria Cares for Youth has made hugely important and lasting changes in the lives of youth in Carpinteria! Carp Cares is responsible for the genesis of the START program.  The START (Support Treatment Advocacy and  Referral Team)  provides a team of school-based clinician who work for the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse and  Family Service agency at all Carpinteria schools.  START was born of Carp Cares efforts to advocate for supports and services for our youth.  Thank you Carp Cares for doing so much for our youth!"
